Irene is a journalism major in her Sophomore year at MSU. She calls Midland, MI, home, and previously played for the Midland Northstars. Her favorite hockey memories include watching Meesh run across the street at 7am in a teal moo-moo, and bus experiences with Donald, the bus driver. Goals for this season are to not be late for another 6am practice, and to be a good team treasurer. Her favorite hockey player is Michelle Crechiolo. Outside of hockey, Irene likes eating ice cream and cookies, reading Harry Potter, and hanging out with her cat, Shredder.
She is the daughter of Charlie and Christine Stibitz and loves Resse's Puffs for breakfast.
